Joel "the BROfessor" Slayton is a native of Arkansas and works full time as
a School Resource Officer with the Conway Police Department. He is an
avid outdoor enthusiast, motorcycle rider, and leatherworker. He is an active
member of Overland Bound and Razorback Landcruisers and a member of
the Cottonland Cruisers. The BROfessor's outdoor adventures began back
in the late 1980's when he and his buddies would go camping, off-roading
and adventuring each weekend. Today, on any given day, you can find he
and his wife Connie riding their Harley's or their his and hers Toyota FJ
Cruisers, exploring the many Forest Roads and Trails in the Ouachita
and Ozark National Forests of Arkansas. He works hard with the Trail
Guardian program and organizes cleanups on trails and Forest Service roads
throughout each year. Joel keeps a log of his adventures through his website
at www.brox4.com and social media Facebook/AdventuresoftheBrofessor,
brofessorleather and Instagram/joeythebrofessor.
David Drouin is from the suburbs of Montréal and has owned and restored
a number of Land Cruisers over the past 15 years. David loves picturing
himself driving around the world behind the steering wheel of his Land
Cruiser. His passion for photography, offroading and overlanding the most
remote areas of Canada keep him busy planning his next adventure. David
and his wife have reached some of the most remote regions of Eastern
Canada and have traveled up and down the East Coast of the United States.
Since his wish-list never dries up, there are still plenty of expeditions left for
them to complete. They're currently planning their next adventure which will
focus on the American Southwest.

In 2003, Karin-Marijke Vis and Coen Wubbels swapped the rat race in the
Netherlands for a life on the road. With a beat-up, antique Land Cruiser the
duo has traveled in Asia and South America. They are often characterized
as the slowest overlanders in the world, their journey being about staying in
places and connecting with people. Their articles and photos have appeared
in 4WD/car and travel magazines around the globe. Follow them at
landcruisingadventure.com, Instagram/landcruising.adventure and Facebook/
landcruising. To support them, check out their shop with T-shirts, calendars
and other goodies.

Ron Baldwin is a Utah native who grew up exploring local mountains and
deserts. He got into the off-road scene as a starving college student who
borrowed his brother's CJ5 for a romantic date that didn't happen due to
rolling the Jeep. He realized at that point that Jeeps weren't for him and
purchased a four year old FJ40 from a 1970's stoner it took months to get
rid of the marijuana smell. Ron still drives that same FJ40 despite rolling it
as well. Ron thanks his wife and adventure companion Nancy, who was too
often a Toyota widow, for her patience as he repaired and modified the FJ40.
They used the Toyota to take their sons, Kory and Jacob, camping and later
both boys learned to drive behind the wheel of the FJ40.
