Can't remember, is the float level always low or sometimes low? Sometimes low is float sticking, always low is a float adjustment issue. If it measures correctly, buoyancy is a possibility or float is just bent wrong...just a thought

No, I never messed with the secondary. The PO had taken it to a local Land Cruiser shop who had installed a 138 in the primary to get her passed emissions back then, the PO decided that she ran much better with the original 147 and put the 147 back in. I had the same experience. I never took the secondary out so I don't know what it is, but it will be larger, no doubt. The real question I have at this point is "Why is the fuel level below the sight glass, even with the float adjustment verified correct?". I have seen fuel delivery problems on many vehicles, but all of them had issues either at high temperatures and/or under high demand conditions like WOT, yet this rig doesn't have either of those problems. Major head-scratcher!
