Be sure to get a CAN-compatible scan tool, or else it will have problems with post-2007-ish vehicles. It's possible that some of those on eBay or out there in the 'used' market will not be what you want or will only work on this truck and not on future ones.

The Innova 3130 or 3120 are good units - check Amazon and scroll down to see the feature list of the Innova lineup. These are $130-ish.
